Howard Keith Salmo, 54, of Kailua-Kona died July 4 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Pahala; he was a maintenance mechanic for Department of Public Works at Pohakuloa Military Training Area, a supervisor for Mauna Loa Macadamia Orchards, irrigation technician and U.S. Army veteran. Visitation 7-9 a.m. Saturday, July 27 at Pahala Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
